Wow, the tank is looking great. Also sorry to hear about the Emperor. Baby fish are always a crap shoot when it comes to survival.

Finally got around to completing the finishing touches, white granite tops and white fascia all matches the wainscoting nicely I think!

As a family we spend more time eating in the dinning room now just to watch and chat about the tank.

That looks FANTASTIC! Invite me for dinner!!!

Just don't serve fish, that would make me feel weird with them watching...

Thanks your corals are amazing! Looks like we are using the same lights!! Funny the pics make my dining room look small but with the add a leaf in the table we can seat 10 no problem

15 months later just did dome more rock scaping yesterday hence a couple of white ones lol, lots of changes with fish corals etc, always a battle between keeping lots of fish and corals balanced but happy with it now:

Ditto, very nice. That is a very large toadstool

WarDog 05-01-2020 03:33 PM

Spectacular!

Lots of movement in that tank. Must be great to wind down in front of.. it looks fantastic. You've had that toadstool a long time... I'm surprised it isn't half the size of the tank considering how it looked already back in 2016

Actually that's a different one, I sold the previous one and got this one approx 1 year ago, it's grown approx 4 inches

As you can see my Sailfin tang is a bit of a ham!!! As far as character he is my favourite, always in your face when viewing the tank, he feeds from my hands and will let me stroke him lol, very cool fish and handsome too!

Beautiful tank!!

Have you had much/any problems from algae, Aptasia, or Bristleworms?

I had a Saltwater tank for about a year, and got overrun with all the bad stuff. I want to start another one, as soon as I can, but I want to do it smartly(although the first time was a learning experience).

Again, awesome tank!! Great job!

Take care,

K

algae yes, never had Aptasia, or Bristleworms, patience and endurance is the key, but for me I keep things simple no dosing, reactors etc, but I swear by RODI water , strong flow and patience patience , small incremental changes

Looking great!!!
