Holy smokes. 3:1 is a pretty aggressive dip. How long do you dip them for?
|
I made the mistake once and didn't dip either when I brought home sum zoa frags. My zoas were closed one day which was strange, after further inspection I saw nudis roaming around. Pulled the frag out right away and got the sucker out! Luckily there were no eggs and they never came back.

it is , but most zoas and palys live through it no problems. ive used as strong as 100% for an experiment i usually on dip for 30sec to a minute.....more closer to the half minute ,mark. last week i fell asleep while i was dipping a colonie in h202, hours later i woke up to a melted colonie......today they are coming back to normal. a few days ago you couldnt even tell it was a zoa all it had was a stalk and stainless steel color like disk.no skirt remained after the dip. |
war is on
:2gunfire:im on a rampage getting rid of these things. got some coralrx, have been picking them off as much as i can. Gonna dip from now on. Everything got a ro freshwater bath, and like reefwars said, not too much effect on the nudis. I have been able to take a fair bit of them out by hand, and have been inspecting constantly. Hopefully all goes good and these @!*$*# dissapear.
