Can't see anything in the water column. I replaced my carbon this morning

thats why I said light outbreak. the stuff in our skimmer is pretty concentrated, you would likely not see it in the water column. hopefully the carbon helps though :biggrin:

any chance some "little one" could have put something in the tank or sump???:noidea:

No little ones here. Plus sump and top of tank are enclosed

I've found that the colour of my skimmate is directly related to the colour of the pellets I feed.

Christmas skimate... not uncommon this time of year

Mine is nothing close to my pellet color. I would say coincidence. Not matter what I feed... Green.

I maintain about 50 tanks... Change in Pellet colour in almost every tank results in change of skim mate colour

I've never fed anything but brown nls pellets
