I don't really think it looks like aiptasia... Behavior doesn't sound like it either... Aitasia retract much further back than just curling the head, often are out during the day. Also, those palys/zoos around it would probably be nuked or damaged of it was aiptasia. Also the base in the picture looks more chunky and less fleshy.
I agree with the possibility of snake polyp, or something similar. |
