RODI systems are designed to work optimally at a certain pressure & temperature. Without a pressure gauge you have no idea whether your system is going to perform according to expectations. If the pressure is too low, it will be very inefficient, making more waste than pure water and taking much longer to make the pure water. If it's too high (unlikely) you run the risk of blowing your RO system or even your plumbing.

By all means you may simply turn on the hose & let 'er rip when you need water but I like to know what's going on. Many RO systems come with a pressure gauge installed between the prefilters & the membrane to monitor performance, ie, when your membrane might need replacing. I've decided to take it a step further and use two pressure gauges, the one you see in the photo to measure input pressure & the one before the RO membrane. This makes it very easy to determine if there's a drop in performance due to increasing pressure differential between the two gauges. Most of the time all I need to do is replace the first stage 5 micron poly prefilter & I'm good for a bunch more gallons.

Yup, most of the time it's around 110, great for washing the car & watering the garden. That's why a PRV in the home plumbing & pressure gauge on the RO & irrigation systems come in handy. The PRV is plumbed in downstream of the outdoor hose bib on the east side of my house, so full city pressure for the yard there. Been meaning to run a bypass on the PRV for the west side outdoor bib.

Try One of the grow shop! Like Quick Grow on edmonton trail! they might have that part! also Lowes has everything you need to make that fitting, If you cant find one in the city bud, just jerry rig one up, By the time you pay shipping if you order it it will end up costing you the same in the end!

I picked up my RO unit used and it came with it.
The guy that I bought it from pick it up from Ocean City (now ocean creations) in Calgary.
I'd imagine that a plumbing store would have them or be able to order them in.
The image that I posted is also clickable.
Or as Ryan J said, try the grow op places.
