As far as variable flow goes, I expect without some sort of randomizing device (ie. computer), the pattern would be fairly repetitive. Whether this matters or not I don't know. Borneman's recent writings indicate that "random" flow isn't necessary at all.

PVC or delring?

When I asked him I was told it's CNC'd from solid PVC.

Sorry that's all I can tell you.

Hi Guys

Thanx Brad for the invite.

figured I'd post here as there was a few questions to answer.

99% of the components are PVC, there is a driveshaft from delrin and a couple of thrust bearings from the poly family, all 100% reef safe.

The motor has already been oversized after listening to concerns from tank installers who's livelyhood depends on reliability, the price remained the same , a heavy duty 4 way is also in production to fill the needs of larger capacity pumps , up to and over 10,000gph.

There is no computer, simply a 1RPM motor, if you wish to put a timer on it too change the delays you can do quite easily.

Any other questions feel free to ask.

thanx guys

Paul
