If it was that big then yes I would get rid of it. Such monster can probably eat sleeping fish, or definitly harm a clam.

I usualy only kill the bristle worms that are on frags that I handle. I do not bother putting them back in the tank and I hate having those bristle in my fingers. I happen to me too often.
