I ordered one of these too. Filled my reservoir faster than I expected (tri-annual floor cleaning :wink:). Easy to set up (plug and play) and I'm very happy aboout the 1:1 ratio instead of the 1:4 or 1:5 on my old unit :biggrin:

My unit has the same stages currently. What can I do to make my current one 1:1? Is the magic in the membrane?

What brand are the RO membranes? Is membrane life expectancy of the RO membrane reduced from the achievement of 1:1 ratio in comparison to say a typical Filmtec membrane? What about this system makes it produce 1:1? Can I retrofit my AquaFX system?

I am wondering this also. I can reduce my output to 1:1 but the membrain won't last as long.

I find it funny that BWI will not respond to there claim on how to make it 1:1.

I understand it's there product and they don't want people to copy them, but if you want people to purchase these units (I would be one of them) then you need to tell us how you are getting 1:1. What is the science behind it?

We could all make our units 1:1 but we would just need to change the membrane 4x faster.
