Ok, lol that picture is a lot wider than the original post!

Hi Laurie, FWIW, this is a Pacific sailfin, Zebrasoma veliferum. The caudal fin ("tail") is yellow, the pattering in the dorsal fin is criss-crossing instead of arching, and the bands alternate betweeen grey and white between the yellow-orange bands in the body.

Still a gorgeous fish. I like how in the Pacific sailfins, the splotch around the scalpels are a deep purple.

By contrast, here's a pic of my Z. desjardini, the Red Sea sailfin (the picture is a few years old but it's a good side profile showing the differences):
