Farmer Brown has 3 daughters who all happen to have a date on the same night; so he figured he'd answer the door with a shotgun just to let the young men know that he's looking out for his daughters.
The first fella comes to the door: "Hello, my name is Joe and I'm here to pick up Flo; we're going to the show. Is she ready to go?" Farmer Brown nods and off they go.
The second young man knocks on the door: "My name is Eddie and I'm here to pick up Betty. We're going out for spaghetti. Is she ready?" And they leave together with Farmer Brown's permission.
The third guy comes to the door" "Hi I'm Chuck......................BOOM!!!!!
