Hi

The unit runs on 1-10V. As the DC voltage increases so does the AC output, so the unit has to be set to 1.5V as a base line to stop lamp flicker and then you can adjust from there

On the 54w ballasts we found the best curve was 0-50% after that you only gain 10% BUT you have heaps to play with in this 50%.

As for ballasts you can have 24w 39w 54w and 80w all in 110V

So if you want dimmable lighting in all wattages but do not have a Profilux..... Time to get one :)

The Profilux light II controller will also control these power bars and ballasts!!!!

Where to get the ballasts - Do a search for Philips advance mark 10 also Sylvania do them.

We have one dealer with them in stock for now if you email me i will give you the details.

Do these ballasts use a 0-10V control input or just vary the 110v mains to dim the light?

Hiya

They work by varying the AC input voltage.

The data cable of the power bar plugs into a 1-10V line on the back of the profilux and the ballast AC plugs into the power bar.

WARNING - DO NOT plug the "Dimmable" power bar into an "S" socket on the ProfiLux, seriously - Don't :(

The beauty of these ballasts is

1. Far less wiring
2. Available in all wattages in 110V
