That is a sleek looking tank. Is the a er rs 80 or 100? I have the 80 nd coudent be hapier with it.

The skimmer is an rs 80. Hopefull it'll be big enough for the 72 gallon tank. The back of the tank will stay clear. I want the reef to stand out, and to be able to see through the reef itself. I'm going to go with a reef structure frame of some type, to create caves and ledges. Question? Does it stress out fish to not have the back painted? Doug

No, but it doesn't look very good unless it is a room divider and you get to see both long sides, otherwise imo it just looks unfinished. Like a picture tacked onto the wall without a frame.

my backwalls unpainted, looks ackward for first few months but is now smothered with corraline, it all depends on what you like. never realized how sleek rimless tanks look though, good sump design too, can't wait to see it filled with water and rock  keep us updated!

The Cycle has begun! Not a lot of rock, because the local fish store is out. I put a few in from my small 20gal tanks. The rest have coral attached. As soon as he gets more, I'll have more. I had a blue back ground from an another aquarium, and put it on just to see what it would look like. Still deciding. Love the light! Doug
