Expertise needed on hammer coral, pronto!!

Hey while we're on the subjest of LPS's. Has anyone seen their frogspawn or hammer drop a tenticle off of a polyp? My frogspwn does it every so often and I wonder if it's so means of reproduction. I haven't seen any baby frogspawns yet, but maybe one day..

I've heard of this but can't remember where. Try a search at reefcentral. If you don't find anything, ask Eric. I'd be really interested to find out what the reason is (if there is one).

Do a search on Reefcentral for coral dripping. Most of the stuff is in Eric's forum. He is currently writing a paper about it. My pectinia sp. is one of the subjects of the paper.
