The little guy did not bite me, but sure stuck on to my hand when I took him out of my pocket. How is your octopus doing? Do you have a chiller on his tank?

sorry to hijack your thread. But ya he is doing fine and eats alot. I dont have a chiller in his tank becuase it is right near a window and keeps the tank about 2 degrees warmer than the ocean. He will probaly be going back to the ocean soonish becuase it is a giant pacific octopus...:rolleyes: One of the wickedist animals that i have ever kept.

What are you feeding him?
He is so small you probably could keep him for awhile. However, I agree he will need to go back. I have played with some huge ones diving at the coast.

He eats the little itty-bitty hermit crabs and crabs. I have still yet to see an octopus when diving...
