I think it was caused by the heat generated by the curing epoxy and the expanding glass that shattered those tanks IIRC. I think the big tank that broke belonged to a guy in Winapeg.

I think it depends on the type of epoxy, some have higher rates of shrinkage than others when curing.

turned out pretty decent, prob shouldnt have mixed up so much, but w.e. def doing it in my tank.

30Sq. Feet would be the coverage with a very thin layer(like, less than 1/8th inch).
I used something called Envirotex-Lite from Home-Hardware. I recall one guy's tank broke because before the epoxy was fully cured(it was hard, but still generating some heat), he poured cold tap-water in for a water test and it cracked. Chris |
