I am running a Velocity T4 Titanium pump the only way you can tell it's running is by putting your hand on it or check to see if waters coming out your return that's how quiet it is.

how are you guys going to solve the problems of water noise in the overflow and sump areas?

As I said, check out Herbie's silent sump system, this completely eliminates water noise. Unfortunately I have to stop this system for unrelated reasons (space etc in the sump area) so I am going back to Dursos.
