been there done that  ... hope it feels better soon

Bwahah I had to think about that MF thing for a sec
Good thing you didn't get it under the fingernail. <shudder> I won't have one of those for that very reason, no doubt I'd end up constantly getting poked by it as I was fishing around in the tank  |
Past time, but HOT water (as hot as you can stand) is a better remedy than anything else you might try. It will considerably reduce the toxicity of the venom. Diving over fields of urchins got a stern lecture about how to treat the symptoms from the divemaster. Be sure to get out all the bits.

Thanks Matt, I actually did that also...since it works so well for bristleworm stings as well. Could be why I'm in pretty good shape today, and I don't think there are any bits left in. Reflexes of a cat....

I'm really holding back from saying something to this one Deb....
|
I'll just bet you are......

Is that the Urchine you acquired from me...?
I'm figurin' it is. That's why I gave him away. His tendancy to lunge into a passing hand was unnaceptable behaviour in my house. . I had thought you could have disciplined him better than myself. Those were the same words I used I think. Remember the story...? I soaked the crotch area of my sweat-pants with the "cat like" reflexes as the spine went under my finger-nail... "Aaaah suck it up princess..." |
