Rockford fosgate used to be a top of the line with all there amps, there speakers have been Ok but it is there amps that made them there name, the problem is they have just riding on that name for the last 10 years, but last year they did bring back there com quality amps but they are so expensive compared to there normal amps that used to be comp quality for cheep till they cheeped out.

Massive I have found is outstanding for both there speakers and amps but they are deceiving for the amp ratings. most amps are rated at a peek power of 14.1V so they will be say 50watt RMS@14.1V but I have found Massive is always rated at 12V so when they say 50W RMS @ 12V they are really much higher when the car is running and they are receiving 14V. so basically they are under rating there equipment. I have two Dual voice coil 10" subs in home made boxes that are to small for the subs in my truck and the sound from them is out of this world, I have a base test CD and I get good response down to 10Hrtz (mind you, you feel that more than hear it  ) so the subs and there amp is massive. I have a 900 watt Rockford fosgat driving 4 Rockford fosgate speakers (switching it to two only to see if it puts out a little more sound soon) so right now I am running front components and rear two ways, but I am taking the rear two ways out as they aren't up to snuff and make the sound funny to me.

I am also thinking about selling the Rockford amp and replacing it with a second Massive amp and going with Massive components with silk tweeters for the front because so far I have not found an affordable speaker that has the projection and quality of the Massive.
