Richard,

Please don't beat yourself up...it happens eventually to all of us (ich or other) and usually when it does most don't know about it till its almost too late. It's a lot to digesting and I myself remember being completely stressed out with all my fish sick and the pain I felt when I lost my absolute fav's. Latterly ripped my heart apart that I felt like it was too late and I felt helpless, beating myself up that it was all my fault. So many get outta the hobby after an event like this happens. Some times its just to heartbreaking, its just whether you can get back up when your kicked down. Horrible feeling though. *HUGS*

Even I even asked for help when I had a huge Velvet outbreak and I'm glad I did. It sure relieved some of stress load for me. I commend you for asking for help. Takes a lot to give up the reigns, especially when your fav fish.

O.k now I offer suggestion... If I was closer I would treat them for you. Damn you’re WAY too far! Bummer!

If you can find someone to help you treat your fish...then you’re golden! But if not...I will walk you through to help your fishies.

1. What kind of filters do you run on your tank? (Canister, Aquaclear, etc)
2. Do you have any Aquaclear or Canister filters? If not ask to borrow one
3. You NEED a QT tank... 30gal would be needed... Ask reefers if you can borrow one. If not go out and buy one if you can. Usually reefers are more then willing to help out if they have it kicking around.
4. You will also NEED a extra heater. Got one lying around? If not ask to borrow one.

If you are running NO kind of filter media that has been running for at least three months....Let me know. Cause then can't go to next step. Unless you borrow some as well.

PM me when your ready or if you have any questions and I will be more than happy to help you the best I can.

Also are you able to send me a pic of the fish remaining...So I can see if ich is all they have. Then also I can see the severity of the infection.

*SUPERHUGS*

Christy :)

The confusion about copper in MG is because the mineral Malachite IS copper carbonate. MG, however, isn't derived from Malachite, but rather named for the similarity of colour. There's no CU in MG.
