I heard that alot of people in Calgary also have a redbug issue...possible source?

Where did you hear this ? I'm not aware of any canreefers here with this problem, the ones I know anyway. :eek: If they are out there, perhaps they should warn people before selling their frags. :confused:

What do red bugs look like? (lemme guess "red bugs") I just recently got a frag from Newguy will I have them? what do I look for?

They don't affect Montipora sp. of corals. Only Acropora corals so since you don't have any Acros, you shouldn't have anything to worry about Murray.

Likely you'll have them too. To see them, grab a magnifying glass and hold the frag up to the glass and look around. You could probably fit 2 or 3 red bugs on the head of a pin, they're very very small.

Oh, right. The frag would need to have been an acro, since they only live on acros.
