You may or may not care but I will post this for information to consider. The Jebao WP 25 and 40 are stolen designs from Tunze and produced in China where they can get away with the copywright infraction. Like I said you may or may not care about the ethics but don't expect the same build quality or support from Jebao and if saving a little short term money is not a concern check out the real thing from Tunze.

Personally, I use Ecotech pumps. Fully controllable, low profile and produce a great wave.

I've gone through 8 different Vortechs before I finally found 5 that did'nt have reliability/noise problems. At $500 a pop you'd expect a little more out of them. They're a really cool powerhead and i'm pretty happy with them. But, as these start to break down I will most likely be replacing them with the WP40s.
Here's a long demonstration on them. I could'nt watch it all but you might be able to sit through it.

Vortech's are definitely noisy. I had two on opposite ends of my 90 gallon tank and replaced them with one WP40. The single WP40 gave me a better wave and is much quieter.

I'm actually using a wp25 on my 90 g reef tank and have to run it on the lowest wave w1 and on the lowest speed, it really moves water and creates a nice wave motion on the corals as well. I just ordered another one for my 60 g build.
Great bang for the buck as long as they last, I guess us first time users are the guinea pigs. LOL!!
