I just so happen to work for a large computer comapny in West Canada.

I personalt would avoid ALL the big guys as the service you get from the local shop is so much better. You will ALWAYS get that personal touch thats lacking in the big boys.

And little know to the user is they all use the same parts made by the same companies. People see dell and thinks they are getting "better" parts than the local shop. An ASUS MB is an ASUS MB no matter where you buy it.

Dell used to be excellent, I was very pleased when I bought my first system from them.

Gradually over the years their service and product went downhill.

I can see how buying local and in person would be better, especially if the components are the same.

I sent Dell an e-mail about my concerns, surprise surprise they have not bothered to answer it.

Yes and no.

The company i work for has one I also do sales on the side.
