Yep, that should leech pesticide into your tank water nicely... Maybe even fertilizer.

Just buy a rubbermaid garbage can, at least you know it wasn't used to hold poison.

Keep in mind that white 15g one will be difficult to clean out as the top looks like it's not removable. I suppose you could just cut the top off though ...

Seriously. lol. Go for a 20 gallon brute! Food safe. You can get them almost anywhere. And you know that it's not going to bomb your tank lol.

If you're going to go that far.... the plastic bucket that we store salt in, and do water changes with could be toxic too. Or what about the plastic that your protein skimmer is made out of? Pump housings. PVC pipe..... etc etc etc. That could go on forever. Just because some sperm died in a lab somewhere in 2009 dosn't mean the end of the world for our reefs. People all over the world confidently use Brutes (including myself) for water changes and storage with no ill effects.
