Yea took me awhile to figure it out. Finally found a decent app that allows for alot better use of the phones camera.

Does it allow you to do a manual focus?

Not that I'm aware of, it just seems to auto focus and adjust for color alot better then without the app. It also has some really neat filters to play around with lol. Its called cameraMX give it a try.

I have an iPad 3, which has a pretty good camera, but not for my tank. Maybe should see if that app works for it.

I'm going to check out that app - those don't look like cell pics! FWIW, those trying to take pics of LED-lit tanks, turn down the blues. The blues mess with cameras' sensors.
