at least after you add all those threaded slip couplers you can reuse the gates.... -1 on the mis-ship...

Confused.... Reuse? :noidea:

I don't plan on adding any thread - slip couplers as that increases the chances of a leak so I'm simply going to remove the threads & make them slips that is unless they are going to ship me new ones for free.

Ask a mod they can remove all your threads.....lol j/k

If it was me I would use some sort of sanding drum or hole saw with sand paper attached to drill out the threads. I was able to just drill it out on 1/2" stuff but have never tried it on the larger scale

I use my die grinder with a metal bur bit, zips them out in seconds just have to be careful not to go to far or it will be to big to fit the pipe.

Just heard back from the supplier of my gate valves,they are sending me new ones out right away & don't want me to send them the threaded ones back :surprise: now that is customer service!!

Holy crap :O That's awesome. Now you can have double the control :D You might even be able to control valves with valves :D
