Fragging season will come shortly, In the last few months I have had some stupid parameter swings due to negligence on my behalf (Temp & Alk). Zoa's are frustrating sometimes, you can be doing everything properly and then one day just randomly one colony or frag will spew it's guts and melt. Not 3 or 4 or 10 or 12 just 1, now how do you treat a problem like that?
Parameters have been getting better, I'm waiting on my dosing pump to ensure everything stays constant especially while I'm gone on summer vacation. Stefan I'm running a 4 foot 8 bulb tek 5 t5 lighting system mounted 9 inches above my water to ensure proper spread. If you are looking to get your zoas to pop in color I would suggest stable levels, letting them grow in a single place by not touching them and using a Vit C supplement. Levi |
