Aren't you at work today? Why you calling your boss "dear" ?

lastlight 11-25-2009 07:30 PM

I hadn't thought that far ahead Tony...thanks.

Maybe a strongly worded email?

Honestly she'd likely just kick my ass it's quicker (and easier).

Delphinus 11-25-2009 07:38 PM

Wait, you mean it's not normal to refer to your boss as dear? I am SO BRINGING THIS UP at my next performance review.

lastlight 11-25-2009 07:39 PM

Like a bowse!

I thought it sounded like a bird, probably a crow.

Can't you just take ALL the children to the fish shop? Kind of like a field trip?

I still have no idea what you're saying. I'm going to guess it's some kind of interior designer secret code.

Parker 11-25-2009 08:22 PM

Does it work both ways?

If we compliment her does it help you out.........the birds singing, the earth moving etc.

Let us know, we can help a brother out!

Saturday Night Live skit...it was a music video.

Look up "like a boss" on youtube if you wanna know more

You may or may not want to look up the censored version...some people may be offended by the original.

Well...depends where you work I guess but no for most workplaces, this would be completely inappropriate.

lastlight 11-26-2009 03:59 AM

Well I'm at foothills right now. My wife has one lung filled with fluid and the second was startingto fill. Feel really bad for her. Hopefully after they drain they can figure out WTF happened. So def no chromis yet although right now it doesn't matter.

JDigital 11-26-2009 04:03 AM

Wow... Sorry to hear Brett..

Best of Luck to your wife.. hope they can figure out what's up.

Lance 11-26-2009 04:07 AM

Delphinus 11-26-2009 04:16 AM

I haven't paid much attention to Sat night live since the original bunch of "not ready for prime time" players left, it just wasn't the same.
Martin, Akroid, Belushi, Murray, Radner, Chase, ect.
I guess I'm showing my age.

I hope all is ok with your spousal unit Brett. Keep us posted.

Van-rookie 11-26-2009 05:42 AM

will pray for your wife

Well Im too young to have seen those guys "live" but they are still my favs too! It's really not the same anymore.

Brett, I am so sorry to hear about your wife. Feels kind of wrong to have been joking around so much earlier

Take care, both of you.

Yeah I feel pretty guilty now. I thought she was being a little over-dramatic with her coughing etc...it sounded almost fake. When you're only firing on one lung yeah you can't move much air in a cough.

They pulled just over 3L of fluid from her chest tonight. She's breathing easier but her shoulder is so screwed up and giving her a load of pain. The sweling somehow screwed it up. Few other issues they need to sort out as well but hopefully she's going to improve from here.

Thanks for the well wishes guys. I appreciate it!

Delphinus 11-26-2009 08:28 AM

Hope things continue to get better dude. Let me know if you need anything.

fishytime 11-26-2009 12:29 PM

lastlight 11-26-2009 12:35 PM

lastlight 11-26-2009 03:36 PM

I know it's innapropriate here with updates like this. Brianne has a massive tumour near her esophagus/lungs that is choking her. She's on the OR now and they're trying to open her airways and then maybe deal with the tumour. I'm trying to be positive but the docs are much too honest this time. Sorry guys but it helps me to tell people and you guys are friends.

Leah 11-26-2009 03:43 PM

Oh dear god so sorry!

AHHope 11-26-2009 04:01 PM

our best wishes are with her
