They are pricey though..and if the sand is too big they get digestive problems and double their excrement production which fuels the algae sand even more!!!
I swear if this hobby doesn't get easier any time soon I'm throwing out the sand and going with bio balls for a substrate. |
Well seems this is a lot of work , so I'm thinking....and correct me if I'm wrong but .....I think I got it.
New plan: I can remove all my sand to get rid of algae. I add the sand from dispplay to the sump and put a algae sand goby in display while I dose mb7 to the sump at the same time eating a chocolate bar. I then remove sand , add dolphin and do a water change with a " good batch" of instant ocean. I add LEDs .. Remove LEDs.... Troll on Rc..... Then I remove goby , add sand ! hook up the seneye and change my name to saltwaterseahorses... It's a good thing I'm off today I was just gonna test and possibly change out my gfo......good thing I didn't :) Boy would I have looked dumbbbb... |
Eureka!! You got it!!
We can put this to rest now. Should prolly make this a sticky... |
