A few random pics.

Just how large can a BTA get? This thing has grown to 18" across and I only feed it once in a while. Damn thing is starting to get too big.

As is this guy (9" across) Scoly, Acanthophylia or Cynarina? Anybody know for sure?

Advertised as a Yellow Bird's Nest with purple polyps. I've got it 12" under a 250W 14K and the polyps nearest the light are turning a light green. Huh!

Considering a small scoly is like $300 bones...you have a nice retirement package sitting in yours !

It was just labelled "Brain Coral" when I bought it. I paid something like $40. It was as big around as a golf ball then. I think it's an Acanthophylia.

Grrrrr! Why does this hobby always have to throw you a curve ball every now and then? Everything has been running smoothly for months, but now in the last week my Sailfin has taken a disliking to Bubba the Trigger. Other than feeding time, Bubba will not come out of his cave. The minute the food is gone the Tang starts up on him, flaring his fins and snapping his tail, forcing him back to his cave. I have had the SF for 3 years now and he is about 7" long. Other than acting up on a new fish for a short time, he has never shown much aggression. I'll give it a few more days and if there is no change Mr. Sailfin will be taking a time out in the frag tank.

Here's some pics of the two:

What kind of dog Brett? I've had cats and dogs together numerous times, it just takes a while. They'll work it out, especially if they're younger.

1000!!!

Anyways...

She's a 2 year old rescue from the animal shelter. Blue heeler crossed with something else...maybe german shepard I'm not a dog guy.

She chased a cat that was in our yard up our fence and the cat was def IN her mouth which sorta alarmed me. Our cat has been in hiding and the dog def wants to chase her. Incredibly gentle with the kids and already pretty well trained. She 'eliminates' (see I'm learning dog talk lol) outside like she should.

Here's a quick video I took today. You'd never know that we'd had her home for less than 30 minutes at this point:
