Just wanted to share the growth / color change of this pretty cool raging river
chalice
first acquired wasn't so happy

burnt part of it by spot feeding polyp booster DOH!
coming back nicely and getting lots of deep reds * 4 weeks*

Yowza... That's a hot piece!
Looks like the top corner of the chalice is going to be the real colour of the chalice (the burnt part you refer to). You can't really burn one section of a chalice by spot feeding.
Decent looking piece though.
Chalice tend to change colours depending on lighting conditions and placement, from me experience with chalice yours will change entirely to that burnt colour, but nothing is for sure.
Another good indication is the new eye that formed. It has absolutely no blue in it.

got more red around the growing ends but held the nice deep blue / teal

Yea man. Actually picked it up for someone who was looking for it for the longest time haven't heard from him so just added to my display. I wasn't crazy about it now it has really grown on me
