Can I use it? Got it for basically nothing and it works perfect! I've got 2 clowns, a yellow clown goby, a cleaner shrimp, a sixline wrasse, and a few snails. Plus a fair amount of soft corals. What do you guys think?

I don't see anything wrong. It will skim good on a 29 gallon. I assume its hanging outside the tank therefore just watch out, it's got a tendency to overflow (flood) if you set the air valve high (skimming wet)

Great skimmer. Used one on a 20g cube

How'd u find the skimmer for micro bubbles? I see there is a mod with 40mm pipe for the outtake so u get less bubbles.

I used a piece of foam( type for canister filters) on down spout. It solved problem perfectly

You better have a big bioload otherwise the skimmer will not skim and produce skimmate. I have that problem with the 30 gallons mantis tank and the skimmer skim only part time. Most of the time it is not skimming anything because there is nothing to skim.

On my other tank the skimmer pull out about one inch of dark coffe skimmate each day because it is full of coral and animals.
