What are the top recommend reef stores in Calgary? I'm just paying a visit from Edmonton. I've already been to big Al's.

Give Reef wonderland a try. Not quite fully stocked yet, but the frags and nems that he's got are very nice.

What\Where is Ocean's? I've been to Gold's and I don't seem to get everything out of it that other people do.

Wai's has excellent corals, just no small frags yet... but soon.

Hit golds on Friday... Their weekly shipment arives Thursday and they are closed to receive and unpack it.... At least that is the goal...

They have the best prices and will order what you want... If your a 'need it now' person go to Pices emporium...

Got some live rock from golds Monday. Anyone want the mantis shrimp that hitched a ride?

Thanks for the pic, that little guy is worth throwing in a separate tank and growing him big and fat. Very cute :)

Incidentally I was in Gold's on Sunday and they had tons of corals in. They had some beautiful mixed colony polyps (nothing special just pretty) and a couple torch corals that were really tempting. The guy in there that helped me was quite the salesman too. Gave me total up-sell on everything I asked about and do I have enough this that and the other thing. Really nice to see a retail sales clerk that actually "gets it".

All three of them are masters of their craft, nothing bad to say about the boys over there one of my favorites to stop at for sure.

Prices are the best in Calgary for livestock 9/10 times.
