So my buddy picked me up some corals the other day but was not 100% sure their names. help please!

The bubles under this one a hard so I am assuming it is glue! Can't see it with my eye but the camera picked it up (wow)

well, I feel a little foolish. what I thought was glue on the frag is in fact bubble algae. pull the frag and remove the algae is the next step.

Yup, you're right about the bubble algae :smile:

First pic looks like Acans to me. They look like they've receeded in the past and some are coming back. See the dead skeletal structures ? When they're super happy you won't see any of the structure at all

Second pic I don't have a good idea, so I'll leave it to someone else

Third pic could be a monti cap, but it's a bit blurry for my bad eyesight :wink:

Fourth pic is a branching frogspawn, and is a gorgeous critter btw. Keep it away from others it can sting when it sends out sweeper tentacles

1st could be a lobo,2nd porites,3rd either a monti or a chalice.

4 is a neon green octospawn :)
