Anybody know of a place to get a cheap RODI filter in Canada? Ebay has some for 120ish including shipping does anyone have experience with those ones?

I had a aqua safe canada which was around the 150 range which did the job, but its a 4 to 1 ratio. I upgraded to the puratek deluxe 100 which imo is one of the better ones.

I can vouche for this. Once I got my RODI all done up, I made about 5GPD. I had to order a pump to get the 70GPD the system could handle, despite being hooked up directly to the kitchen sink.

If you have low water pressure, you'll need a pump as well. You can get them from AquaSafe. It's where I got mine.

It's also good to get one with a pressure gauge, and a in/out TDS meter. That way you can tell how much pressure is going through the system - too much or too little, and the TDS you are aiming for is 0 before it enters the tank - this is one way you can tell if your filters need replacing. It's not a necessity, more like a convenience.
