Post counts

Hi, I couldn't edit my posting in the Hardware Sales section. I remember you must have enough postings before you can do certain things on the board. However, I have been here for years, but I still have only 13 posts. I have posted a few replies on the threads and the count is still 13. Please help. Thanks.

Edited: now that I posted a "new" thread of my own, the posts is updated to 14.

I"m not 100% sure on the post counts to post in certain forums, but about 6 months ago the Post Counter was changed to not count Buy/Sell posts to your Counter.

I believe you only get 1 post per day per thread that counts.

Also, any thread you create is locked for editing after 15 minutes no matter how many posts you have...

Posts in buy/sell threads and lounge don't count. And nothing can be edited after a 15 mins grace period.

Yeah I was choked when they changed that. I was over 1000 posts and now I have to work my way back up! lol.

LOL.. thanks for all your feedback. I guess I don't have to keep looking for threads to post since the count is irrelevant to enabling the "edit" button on my postings. :ohwell:

Yeah that's going to be a problem. It's gonna be a problem for them. This a clear violation of your rights as a consumer. It's an infringement on your constitutional rights. It's outrageous, egregious, preposterous. ............and further more ...........That's totally inappropriate. It's lewd, lascivious, salacious, outrageous!
