I'm looking for some bioballs if anyone happens to have some laying around they no longer need. And by "some" I mean a lot. Thanks!

I have around 4 gallons of brand new black bioballs sitting around ;)

i figured some people had bio balls sitting around not doing much :-)

ya, pond use. I want to fill a rubbermade tote (~20 gallons) with bio balls!!

I have a a bunch you are welcome to if you want to stop by sometime. Another option you may want to try is those plastic dish scrubbers. I used a bunch of those when I built a DIY filter when I had a pond and they worked fairly well and the are relatively inexpensive.

i'll save us all a potential essay and say that kien does use these in his sump currently as a backup source of bacteria for qt tank etc :biggrin:
