Just joined, although I've been reading up on this board almost since it started.

My name is Albert and I keep 3 reef tanks (72 gal softy tank - 50 gal DSB/refugium, 12 gallon random invert tank and a 25 gal LPS tank). Well, 4 tanks if you count the Razzle Dazzle thing on my desk (harlequin shrimp and sexy shrimp)

Also do a lot of Starcraft on a competitive level, Diablo 2 and Badminton.

Oh, and me and some friends make websites.

I dunno, reading all the bad rep about LFS stores, I kinda had to say something. Haha.

Oh please, not this again.. Everytime the issue dies, someone just has to bring it back. It's been weeks since there've been anything like that!!!!

Seriously, I hate those threads. There's absolutely no way to resolve them.

In the end, I hope that we just have some civil dialogue. Recognizing that people can be coming from different places when they speak.

Ultimately though, as a LFS employee, and razzing aside, know that you are welcome here to post your views and your experiences.

You've got a good point.

Just my nature to insert opinions (I frequent a lot of debate boards in my spare time...)

How big is this sect of CanReef anyway?

To be honest, I'm not sure. When we've had get-togethers (it's not all that often, though), there have been some 30-40 people I think at some of the bigger ones.

Debate is good. It's just that the LFS one has been cained before. Let's debate something less volatile, like religion.

Competitive Starcraft eh? Is that pro gaming league still running? I remember they used to play Quake II and Starcraft in that.

That's a lot of people!

Hah, wierd, I've always maintained it that Kari was on dope or something when he brought up the reef meets.

Well, I really have only one thing to say about religion: Organized religion is the only way that a nation will ever achieve unity.

But yeah, as far as competitive leagues go, there are quite a few. WCG, WGT (the one I play in), regional leagues etc.

How about global unity?

If everyone was of one religion, we'd have that too.

I have to disagree with this.I think we would still see fighting between different sects.Cath/Prod,Suni/Shia.

Indeed he was. In fact, he's also my long lost brother.
