It would be nice if one knew ahead of time. I just got two from Jayson, which by the time I paid for shipping they cost $20.00 each.

Oh'day. I'll be there tomorrow. I've been waiting forever.
Any idea on how they should be stocked in a tank? I heard one or two is good enough for anything under 50g.

general rule of thumb is 1 per 2' of sandbed I think.

each conch should have 2 ^ft of opensand bed. I had two in my tank and once the algae settled down there was only enuf to support 1 of them. I recomend only 1 in anything smaller than a 90 gal tank.

if you have a fair amount of open sand it should be ok, mine is only 1 cm to 1" deep and he is doing fine.
