Originally started out as a few sheets of glass in my garage and a whole bunch of boredom and turned into a mangrove refugium

From there I got bored of the mangroves and shut it down, tried to sell it and gave up on that.. So looking at it I thought hey... Ill throw a coast to coast on it, build a sump, and throw a skimmer in it.

So voila an almost complete system

Still have to decide on a skimmer and throw a biopellet reactor on it but waiting for the reactor to seed off of another tank

Corals will be dendros, sun corals, and probably zoanthids (lighting will be plenty, just want something on the bottom of the tank)

Fish will be a pair of scooter blennies

Made a bit of progress, started building the LEDs and got a skimmer running on the tank, rock in, salt in, just need a couple red LEDs for the fixture and still need to get my biopellet reactor (pb150) hooked up

Got a biopellet reactor hooked up (modded phosban 150) and made some progress on my led fixture, now I just have to build a housing for it and hang it

Added some corals (some palys)
Having some phosphate issues, pretty sure it's because of the gravel I used but nothing a bit of gfo can't handle

Non photosynthetic spelt wrong...

I've been adding palys because I'm having a hard time finding nps corals out my way

I see. So in other words, it's a non-(non-(non)photo)-synthetic tank build?

There are some non photosynthetic corals in there... I've got about 14 heads of dendro a I had sun corals but they died in a fragging mistake

Cool! Love dendros. And ya, NP(F)S corals are hard to find. They don't come around often.

So it's been awhile since I've updated this

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a171/tyty_220/651D026D-8763-44A3-BACD-6F3FB28FB870-237-000000200777AD20_zps7fb198f2.jpg

Pulled all the softies out of the tank and moved them over to my frag tank and added some more sps and higher end lps

All the dendros are doing well and last head count totaled at 16 heads

I'm still debating wether or not I'm going to plumb this tank into my frag tank

Also the livestock has changed a bit

Now have 2 clown gobies, carpenter wrasse (until it gets slightly larger) and a fang blenny
