Been out of the hobby for quite a few years now and suddenly got some money to burn so I'm coming back.

I really like the new LED systems so I was wondering what is the best? I've heard a lot of good things about ai sol fixtures but after reading a few threads it sounds like they are lemons. What else is out there?
I dont mind paying money for good quality

kessils are nice ( more blue but that is close to nature and good for deep tanks).... check out reefbuilders.com for lotsa info.

Over my current tank I've had Gen1 Radions, AI vegas and now the Mitras. I still run a vega over the frag section of my sump. In comparison between the Mitras, Radions and Vegas. The Mitras are substantially brighter have a larger spread and zero discoball effect. Now that I've had them for months I've gotten the programming where I want it and absolutely love them. If you ever want to come over and check them out just drop me a pm (if your ever around E-town)

I probably should add that I am building a 240gal 72x24x31" starphire tank
need a really good lighting setup for clams and sps

I like the look of the Kessil but I believe the require an external controller to adjust intensity, spectrum on/off. I may be wrong though. I do love the pendant look though.

My tank is almost strictly sps now and one big clam.
