So I just learned that ich/ick also lives in the sand bed of a tank not only on a fish.
If this is true does it also live in the live rock? I have great little critters in my live rock and I want to put them in my other tank but will I be infecting my other tank with the parasite?
My new tank is completely clean.
also is it ich or ick?

Ich has 4 stages in its life cycle, one stage is dormant and it can remain in that stage for months on your rock and in your sand.
A tank must remain fish free for @ 80 days to ensure the life cycle is complete and the ich is gone.

so if i remove the fish and treat them. I can just leave all my inverts in the tank with all the live rock and critters and the ick will die off?

Yes, the ich will continue its cycle and as long as there are no fish for it to host it will cycle through and be gone, this can take up to 2 months.

Iv heard that I can get a cleaner wrass.. will that kill it all off? or will i still have some kind of a cycle in my tank?

A cleaner wrasse may help control it, but it will not eradicate it.

+1, more of a preventative than a curative.
