I was cleaning the filters on my freshwater planted tank and discovered 3 of these little guys in the sink. Thought I'd post a picture. I've put them in a breeding tank so my Angels wont get them. Hopefully I can get them to adulthood.

It's actually quite lucrative to breed some of these strains. Some get VERY expensive and the payout can be big!

Cool I haven't heard many who found baby Pleco's in their tank unless they were breeders.
And when I was a freshie I would of gladly paid for captive bred bristlenose better survival rate.
Anyway good luck with them

I've raised at least 50 of them to adulthood. Keep them away from predators and they are quite hardy. I love my bristlenose plecos!
