I added a bubble tip anenome to my tank on Wed and all was good. I went out on Fri and came home 3 hours later to find threads of him coming out of the powerhead. I guess this is common but I read that you could but a stocking or netting over the powerhead and cut a hole out so the water can flow out. This is a temporary measure until the anenome finds a home and settles in. Has anyone tried this? I don't think it would be very good in the long run because of the restriction to the intake flow. Thoughts? Also, I'm not getting another as I picked up a really nice rock flower anemone who likes the bottom of the tank just fine.

Have you tried a long tentacle plate coral? They look just as nice but they don't move around.

I looked at them but decided on a rock flower anenome instead. It found a spot on the bottom and looks nice. Very little movement.

when we had our BTA we used abs plastic and wedged them at an angle under the blower, so when he moved close it would just push him in front and he would just get blown around, it worked very well. Ive heard of placing rocks and things underneath too. We ended up trading him for a blue carpet that looks way better and settled in a spot fast!
