I was wondering what most people are feeding their clams. I was thinking of buying some Phytoplex Phytoplankton. Has anybody tried this? Could this be used to spot feed the clam, or is it better just to add it to the entire tank.

I've been using DT's and Reef Crew phyto. Which ever I have on hand in the beer fridge.

Oh, and I just dump it in the tank. Don't know much about the Phytoplex stuff.

I use the Kent Phytoplex and have had good results. I just add it to the tank and all the other corals get fed as well.

metal halide lighting.

indirectly, nutrients in the water column.

I'm voting this way also.

Baby clams need feeding from what I understand, the others simply thrive on the nitrates my fish provide.
