Light intensity and eggcrate

For those who use eggcrate as a cover, did you increase your light intensity? I just added some to my tank and wondering if I should leave the lights or increase a bit.

Whatchya got for lights? I know eggcrate blocks quite a bit on my tank.

Your guess is as good as mine but I would suspect at least 10% is lost through the eggcrate. It seems to reflect a fair amount of light back up towards the fixture IME.

I would leave your lights as there are and if needed in two week increase a little.

I'll keep an eye on the corals and see how they react.
