Alright so I thought of opening this thread so that everyone can see what sort of crazy aquascapes canadian reefers can do. Till now, one of the best aquaspacing I have seen (in my opinion) is none other than from a japanese reefer:
http://glassbox-design.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/cp-farm-japanese-reef-tank.jpg
(I really like this one since it adds a huge dimension to the tank and not the typical caves and just piles of rocks)
Let the show-off begin

This one has huge dimensions cause it IS huge! I saw this pic before. I really wish my tank was wide enough to accomplish it.

Some Nice Japanese tanks....
Japanese tanks have their problems....but I like the fact that a lot of them do not have uniform lighting over the whole tank. I think a tank that is not lit up from end to end adds a certain depth an elegance to a tank, which a tank that just simply has the brightest lights over the greatest areas do no begin to achieve.

I am very diligent about scraping the coraline off everything except my rocks. With a clean black (or bluish) acrylic background, it gives a stronger impression of depth.

I don't understand one thing. Japanese always live in very very tiny houses to save spaces but when it comes to tanks; its practically the size of their living room! HOW COME

Is this seriously doable with the adult clownfish and babies? If yes, I'm seriously going to go out and buy 20 baby clownfish and stick them in with my breeding pair.

Long term, no. There is a person on reefcentral that tried it and succeeded for a few years, but now they have started to kill each other off. I talked with a different person on there as well that tried it with the same outcome. Considering clowns can live 25 years, a few years isn't really that successfull.

I'm too lazy to take an updated picture but here's one from months ago. I have a large amount of caves and hiding places.
