Good Day:

I recently added two fish to my JBJ 28 gallon tank. I have been keeping the feedings at minimum but it has been about 2 weeks and I have noticed some brown algae on the sand in small area (it faces the south window in my living room) and a bit of brown algae on the rock.

I do a w.c. every two weeks, running Aquamaxx skimmer, and have GFO/Garbon in the basket.

I am thinking because of more fish and feeding means more nutrients in the tank. Do you have any suggestions to help with this? I have been thinking of adding a reactor for GFO or carbon but have limited space and changing the media seems like a pain, especially if I have it in the stand.

Another idea is running a refugium for cheato but I have not sold myself on this idea.

Thanks,
Michael

I haven't tried this or researched it. Is this done with vodka?

Thanks.

+1 for prodibio cause zeo you will prob need a reactor for the media. Prodibio is cheaper on your size of tank.
