Anyone know where to buy 1 L of phosfree in calgary? It is the stuff you put in with dead dry rock to remove the PO4 from the rock faster?

I called around spa supply and they don't sell in small quantity.?

Anyone know?

Thanks

If Western Pump don't have it then I have no idea.

But ... Isn't that Lanthanum basically, and isn't Lanthanum the stuff used for FozDown? http://www.oceanfreshaquarium.com/foz-down/ ... maybe that is easier to get in smaller quantities.

Used to be that Red Coral sold it locally. With them gone I'm not sure if anyone else carries it locally. Might be worth a few calls to stores..

i've never heard of this practice outside a display. do you circulate dry rock in water containing this for a while before using it?

Interesting. How do you plan to dose, and remove the precipitate?
