Recently my LFS showed me a branch of SPS skeleton that a customer had brought it, and it was infested with keyhole limpets. These are tiny (2-3mm) limpets that appear to burrow into the skeleton. The customer was losing acros and finally found these things. I've asked for a live branch to check under the microscope to get a better look.
Just what we need, yet another SPS pest :)

Darryl, I'm not sure. Haven't got a lot of info and I don't know the guy affected. Trying to get more info though. The one branch, about 5 inches, produced about a dozen limpets. Then I found a couple more still buried in the branch.

Interesting Brad, thanks for sharing...
Found a link (http://www.liveaquaria.com/general/general.cfm?general_pagesid=362) on some info for it.
Awesome. One more thing to lose sleep over.
