I was at Wai's on Monday and they had over a dozen of these fish there....looked pretty healthy. Wai's is on Trans Canada and between Edmonton trail and Center st.

Sounds like pieces pets, Last time I was there ( apr 26) it looked like they were shutting down the marine section. Not worth your time

Big Als
Oceans
Wai

Ocean Aquarium - Center St and about 25th Ave, as Bob said.
Gold Aquariums - BAY J, 4710 17 AVENUE SE 273-5567
Wai's Aquarium - 16th Ave across from Peter's Drive-In
Riverfront - tough to find, not worth the trouble
Pisces - under construction, I believe

there ya go!

Here's a previous discussion on the topic. We covered a lot of ground in this thread. http://www.canreef.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=6755

So then if pisces is outta marine that leaves wia's. I would like to visit maybe one or two more. I have to pick up a Coral Beauty while i am in that is why i can only go to so few. Plus the roas sytem blows in calgary.

I don't understand what you're trying to say.

Perhaps it is time for people to look at what keys they are hitting, so that their posts become more understandable to the rest of us.

"The road system blows in Calgary". Calgary has one of the better road systems I've seen. Edmonton, now that's a bad road system.

I would focus your attention on Big Al's if you are coming from the south.

It took me a while but I finally guessed "roads". I wasn't trying to be mean or anything, but I genuinely had trouble guessing what that statement meant. .. Doo-e, not to harp on a point here, but have you considered www.iespell.com ? It's an add-on for internet explorer that gives you an option to spell-check your posts. You just right-click on your post, and it gives you an option to "check spelling." It's free, I use it and I think it's pretty good. Give it a try, maybe.

As for the fish stores. If you're coming in from the south, you're options are, I think, Big Al's and perhaps Golds. The others mentioned, are quite a bit further north and will involve a much longer road trip. If you go to Wai's, you might as well also go to Oceans (just a few blocks north of Wais).

I hate to say it but I live in the far south of the city and I rarely find the time to make the 45-minute-drive-each-way to the north stores any more. Basically Big Al's and MO for me. Although the stores in the north are fine enough for an occasional visit. I'll pay them a visit if I'm in the area anyways, but the drive is too long to go pay them a visit on a regular basis.

Okay the i will just go to Wai's and Big als. Is there a better Store that has more of an invert and corals selection than the others.
